Women Who Kill

Director: Ingrid Jungermann
Exes Jean (Ann Carr) and Morgan (Ingrid Jungermann) may no longer be a couple, but they still work together as co-hosts of the podcast about female serial killers called “Women Who Kill.” When sexy Simone (Sheila Vand of A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night) enters the picture, Morgan falls—and falls hard. But as bodies begin falling all over town, clues point to Simone.
A dark comedy with a bite, Women Who Kill asks questions about trust and intimacy. Can a sense of mystery rejuvenate a failed romance? When is it too soon to rent the U-Haul? Don’t sociopaths also deserve love?
What begins as a wicked comedy, this film turns sinister as triple-threat Jungermann (actor/writer/director) keeps the audience guessing. Amateur sleuths will find themselves asking, “Could Simone be a serial killer?” If so, will Morgan turn to her or turn her in? Deborah Rush (Orange Is the New Black) provides comic relief as a cranky co-op manager while Annette O’Toole (Ma Kent in Smallville) adds menace as creepy Lila.
