About the Film

This documentary about the first all-female heavy metal band in the Middle East, Slave to Sirens, focuses on two founding guitarists (best friends and ex-lovers) who must navigate a world that’s exploding around them. This rock-doc depicts music as a form of resistance in a country in flux, which should intrigue even non-headbanger fans.
