Reel Stories
Reel Stories is a free quarterly screening series dedicated to showcasing international queer cinema, with a focus on marginalized perspectives. All screenings are in partnership with City of Asylum.
City of Asylum builds a more just community by protecting and celebrating creative freedom of expression. They provide sanctuary to literary writers exiled under threat of persecution, so that they can continue to write and are not silenced.
Every event is free and open to the public.
Next Screening: Queer Iranian Shorts Program
This shorts program, curated by Reel Q, brings together a powerful collection of recent queer Iranian films that center the resilience and courage of living authentically. These stories highlight the diversity of queer Iranian experiences, offering glimpses of chosen family, resistance, love, and self-expression.
